Activities and Age Groups

What do we get up to?

We introduce daily themes and activities and offer two different weeks of programming on an alternating schedule, even numbered weeks and odd numbered weeks.

Week 1, 3, 5, 7: Ole's Quest

Throughout the week the participants will follow historic maps to find old cabins, work as team to solve puzzles, track wild beasts (real and mythical), mapping, building natural shelters and much more. On Friday they will need all they've learned to take on the epic-ness of Ole's Quest, and find the hidden chest of Mt Seymour's original Park Ranger and legendary mountain man, Ole Johanssen!

Week 2, 4, 6, 8: Seymour Survival Challenge

Week two will teach participants the basics of survival, including learning edible plants, building shelters, bear hangs, compass navigation, signalling and much more. On Friday, the groups will be put into a scenario and will need their skills to complete the task at hand....survive.

How do the activities differ between age groups?
