Times - Half-day programs start 10am, 1pm, 4:30pm (new snowshoe afterschool time slot Tuesdays & Wednesdays only; grades 5+)

Meet us at Enquist Lodge and enjoy quicker access to easier trails for your youngest students. Stay afterwards in our Snowplay Area especially designed for primary students – build a fort and a snowman, or just play in the snow before heading back to school.

Winter Discovery (2 hours, grade K+)
A great introduction to winter ecology. Have you ever wondered how trees and animals survive under a blanket of snow? Discover the amazing adaptations that allow them to do so while learning the basics of winter safety.
Nature Games (2 hours, grade K-5 or anyone who is a kid at heart!)
Be prepared for fun! Play nature-focused games on snowshoes while learning some of the incredible characteristics of a winter ecosystem.
Navigate Nature (2 hours, grade 5+)
Learn how to navigate successfully through nature. A great introduction to compass use and taking/following bearings and other route-finding techniques. No experience required – just a sense of adventure!
Winter Workout (2 hours, grade 5+)
Combine fitness and fun as students enjoy a scenic snowshoe hike while getting a great winter workout. Snowshoeing is an aerobic activity combining strength training, muscle endurance, and cardiovascular conditioning. Let us be your winter coach!
Spirit of Sport (2 hours, grade 5+)
Experience the exhilaration of team games on snowshoes! Students will engage in friendly competition against each other while building team spirit, burning energy, and having tons of fun. Capture the Flag on snowshoes is a popular favourite.
Mountain Mystery & History (2 hours, grade 5+)
Go back in time and unlock the mysteries of the mountain. Through stories and props, students will learn about the secret cabins in the forest and other fascinating facts on this intriguing inquiry into the history of the people and the land of Mt Seymour.
Amazing Snowshoe Race (2 hours, grade 5+)
This interactive teambuilding program leads groups through a fun and fast–paced scavenger hunt and fact-finding mission… on snowshoes! Test your group’s wit and sense of team while solving a series of mental challenges and mind-bending riddles.
Winter Survival Challenge (3 hours, grade 5+)
Learn essential winter safety and survival skills in this hands-on program. Working in teams, problem-solve your way through a survival scenario using only the equipment provided in your survival pack. Your group may try their hands at shelter building, orienteering, melting snow, and other skill-testing activities. Be prepared to spend plenty of time digging and playing in the snow!
Sustainability on SNOW (2 hours, grade 5+)
Students will snowshoe their way to establishing valuable connections between everyday life and the mountain ecosystem. Through fun and thought-provoking activities, games and observations, students will discover how to use the lessons of nature to make our world more sustainable.
Junior Survivors (2 hours, grades 2-5)
Learn the basics of staying safe outdoors in the winter. Children will play their way to learning about how to be prepared, how to avoid getting lost, and what to do if lost. A mini survival challenge will be used to let the children share what they've learned, all the while having fun and gaining confidence in our snowy winter forest.

- All participants receive a hot apple cider at the end of their snowshoe program
- One guide for every 22 participants. Minimun 10 students to book a snowshoe program
- One free chaperone for every 10 students. Primary classes receive one free chaperone for every 5 students. Additional chaperones receive 50% off.

With a school booking we are pleased to offer free parking for winterized busses and cars equipped with winter tires. Mt Seymour is pleased to announce Lynch Bus Lines as our preferred transportation company for the 16/17 season. If we need to postpone or cancel your winter activities due to inclement weather, schools may cancel up until noon the day before with no fees.
